DLC Group’s focus on quality and technology has set it apart from other players in the market and helped it become one of the leading companies in this domain.

Daryl has celebrated over 39 years in the glass industry, starting initially as an apprentice Glazier in 1982. With his trade certificate and valuable experience gained from working for a few local companies in Perth, Daryl embarked on his ambitious project, starting his own business in 1989 from his garage. Daryl jokes that this initially included a Ute, a dog and the worlds largest mobile phone!

On reflection, Daryl puts the rapid rise of his business down to simply saying yes to all opportunities, and doing whatever it took to fulfil those promises. This dedication was rewarded with growth and a reputation for reliability and customer satisfaction.

Even after 32 years in business Daryl is still very passionate about the glass industry and firmly believes that to ensure the future of his business, and indeed the industry, you have to offer the next generation a start. DLC Group has assisted a large number of apprentices over the years, many of whom still work at DLC Group, two of these happen to be Daryl’s sons. “A large part of our success is our staff, we have the best people” says Daryl. “Many of our team have been with us for decades, the longest being 30 years and many over 20 years. We love that.”
